Bailey Adams Williams- Owner/ Instructor/ Dynamic Instructor
Bailey has been dancing for 31 years. She began her instruction at Dance Unlimited, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina, under the instruction of Jean Louisa Steele. She was then transferred to Slidell, Louisiana, where she studied under Heather Loyacano at Creative Dance. From there, she traveled to Chesapeake, Virginia, to study under Jean Faulkner at Unlimited Dance, Inc.
After 4 years of training at Unlimited Dance, Inc. she began to instruct her own classes and taught for another 5 years until purchasing Unlimited Dance, Inc. in July 2006. Bailey has received many awards throughout her dancing career. Additionally, she has been invited to perform at the hula bowl half time show numerous times, the Super Dome in New Orleans, The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the tour with Dance Caravan as a "Caravan Kid."
She has competed and taken master classes at many conventions/competitions on the East Coast, and has also traveled to Los Angeles to audition for the Laker Girls. Bailey is married to Jamie Williams and they reside in Chesapeake, VA, with their sons, Tate and Turner; and daughter, Tenley.
Bethany Adams Dail- Instructor/ Dynamic Instructor
Bethany has been dancing for 29 years. She began her instruction at Dance Unlimited, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina, under the instruction of Jean Louisa Steele. She was then transferred to Slidell, Louisiana, where she studied under Heather Loyacano at Creative Dance. From there, she traveled to Chesapeake, Virginia, to study under Billie Jean Faulkner at Unlimited Dance, Inc.
Bethany started teaching for Billie Jean during her Junior year of high school in 2003. She assisted many classes before that. Bethany is the younger sister of Bailey and is still teaching under her ownership. Bethany has received many awards throughout her dancing career. She has been invited to tour with Dance Caravan as a "Caravan Kid," she won a scholarship through the Hollywood Vibe Dance Convention, and she has earned many awards competing in numerous dance competitions as a child and teen.
Bethany has competed in many pageants, including the Miss Hickory High School Pageant in 2002-2003 and 2003–2004, where she placed third runner-up. She has taken master classes at many conventions/competitions on the East Coast. She is married to Kyle Dail and they have two sons named Harper and Levi.
Susie Mahoney — Instructor/Dynamic Instructor
Susie was born into a family of dancers. Her late uncle Edgerton Evans and wife Muriel owned and operated The Academy of Dance in Hampton, Virginia, for more than 60 years. She began her training at The Academy at the age of 3.
At the age of 8, it was obvious that Susie had a tremendous passion for dance, so she enrolled at Northampton Dance Studio in Hampton, Virginia, under the direction of Mrs. Elizabeth Evans. She became a student teacher at the age of 15 and performed as Principal Dancer in productions of "The Lost Joy," "Cinderella," and "Blonc de Noir" under the newly formed Tidewater Dance Theater, a nonprofit contemporary ballet/modern dance company directed by Debbi Evans.
In 1992, Susie accepted the position of Director of Ballet at Hampton Roads Dance Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia under the direction of Cheryl Simmons. When HRDC closed, she started teaching at Betty Smith School of Dance in Hampton, Virginia, and Unlimited Dance, Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia. In 2006, she left Betty Smith to accept the position of Ballet Company Director at Unlimited Dance, Inc.
Susie has studied Ballet at Jacob's Pillow in Lee, Massachusetts, and in New York City under David Howard and Igor Youskevitch. She also successfully completed several workshops under the direction of Finis Juang. She has performed at the Halftime show at The Gator Bowl in Florida and at the College Football Kickoff Classic in Giants Stadium in New York.
She has also taught and choreographed many routines in gymnastics, pageants, and bodybuilding competitions. Susie has been a certified aerobic instructor at the Riverside Wellness Center in Newport News, Virginia, for more than 20 years. She conducted aerobic training for the US Navy aboard the carriers USS George Washington and the USS Enterprise.
Eryn Cotton Mattox- Instructor
Eryn has been dancing for about 18 years. Eryn started her dance career at the age of two. She did not start committing herself soley to dancing until the age of eight. She began taking classes from Unlimited Dance under the ownership of Billie Jean Faulkner. In 2007, Eryn joined the competitive dance team at Unlimited Dance Inc., now under the ownership of Bailey Williams. Eryn competed with the Unlimited Dance Dynamics until the age of 17.
Throughout high school, Eryn was also member of the RockCats dance team at Great Bridge High School. She performed at pep rallies, basketball games, and football games. She was the captain of the team for three years in a row. Eryn competed in the Miss Great Bridge pageant her junior and senior years, where she placed second runner- up her senior year. Eryn is now living in Chesapeake with her husband, Brad Mattox and has completed her Bachelor's of Science degree, majoring in Psychology. Eryn also has a special education teaching license. She is also completing her master's degree. Eryn enjoys combining her love for dance and special education.
Eryn has performed at many dance competitions on the East Coast. Eryn competed and performed in Disney World in Orlando, Florida for the Hollywood Vibe National Dance Competition and Convention in 2009. In 2009, Eryn attended a summer intensive at the Todd Rosinlieb School of Dance, and has also attended several classes at the Richmond Ballet. Eryn has taken many Master Classes and Conventions all along the East Coast as well.
Eryn also dedicates much of her time to the Special Olympics. Eryn volunteers her time between the months of September and December to the Special Olympics of Virginia in partnership with the Chesapeake Sherriff's Office where she choreographs for athletes and their partners in their anual "Dancing with the Athletes" event. Eryn has particpated in this event for 4 years in a row.
Suzanne Ortiz-Owner/Office Manager
Although Suzanne does not have much dance experience of her own, she is no stranger to the dance industry. Suzanne became best friends with Bailey when her daughter, Erin started taking class at Unlimited Dance with Bailey. Suzanne's son, David, is also big into the theather and performace world. Suzanne also owns and operates another buisness. Suzanne currently resides in Chesapeake with her husband, David and has two kids, Erin and David, living out of state.
